“Study a Master’s in Nursing in Beautiful Dublin”

Join this free Online Open Day of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery to learn more about their program in Nursing.

The Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery was founded in 1974 and is the longest serving provider of post graduate nursing education in Ireland.

The curriculum has been designed to encourage the integration of theories and concepts from a number of disciplines in order to engender a deep understanding of nursing practice, and its role within an interdisciplinary framework. In a context of practice development a key aspect of the MSc programme is its requirement for individual students to focus their course work assignments and examinations on their own area of clinical practice.

In year 1 key concepts such as leadership, education, training and research will be developed and in year 2 the student will be required to undertake a dissertation in their area of practice. The first year of the programme qualifies for a Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing Theory award if the student wishes to exit at this stage.

Requirement to join the program are:
  • IELS level minimum 6.5
  • Registered nurse in your own country
